Description
It seems basic, but are you prepared to survive an emergency? This is a 1 semester presentation and hands-on style class. In addition to reading the given text assignments, each week students will learn or practice survival skills like shelter building, water purification, fire building, orienteering and foraging. For their capstone project, students will create a diorama or poster depicting skills or topics learned in the course or demonstrate a survival skill for the class.
