STEM II
For students who like to know the why and how of engineering and design.

Description
Science Technology Engineering Mathematics This class with a new teacher is for students who like to know the why and how of engineering and design! In this class, students will work both individually and collaboratively to design and construct working models, such as a hydraulic maze, a magnetic train, a judo bot, a circuit challenge, and more. For most of the projects, students or teams will compete in class to determine which model was the most successful. This class gives students the opportunity to work collaboratively and to build problem-solving skills. Minimal homework will be assigned, but occasionally students may need to finish projects at home. STEM 1 and STEM 2 projects will be different from each other, so students may take one or both semesters.
