Photography II
Use your camera to capture and share your hobbies, interests and adventures.

Description
In Photography II, students will review basic concepts learned in Photography I and then build on those concepts. Students will learn about legal and ethical issues in photography, hear from local professional photographers and learn how to evaluate photographs. Students will learn about and practice several different kinds of digital photography: portraiture, family and newborn photography, landscape photography, product photography and macro photography. Students will practice and demonstrate these skills and concepts by taking and critiquing their own photos, completing photography assignments, evaluating their knowledge of vocabulary and technical terms through quizzes and completing a portfolio of their work to be shared with the class. Photography I is not required as a prerequisite for this course, but it is encouraged.
