Economics
This is an introduction to a Biblical view of economics in church history and US history.

Description
The student will receive an introduction to Biblical teachings related to Economics, economics in church history and economic history of the United States. We will explore the basics of macroeconomics, microeconomics, and how the government is involved in the economy. A clear explanation of terms and concepts and the importance of the free market system are clearly explained. Using current events, we will make economics relevant and come alive. Students will become a better steward of their money as well as their time, as they are better-informed contributors to the economy on a personal, household, local, national and international level. This is not your dry, boring econ class. We will learn through activity-based lessons, role-play, active demonstrations and group problem solving. Homework will include textbook reading and answering review questions.
