High School Drawing and Painting

This credit class is geared for the 9-12th grade. In this class we will quickly learn, or refresh, our knowledge of the elements and principles of drawing and painting. A variety of projects will be based on the information that we discuss in class. We will use a variety of mediums including pencil, acrylic, charcoal and watercolor. Students will be challenged to work to the best of their abilities and have fun. Students will be expected to work 4 hours per week in addition to class time. Grades are based on willingness to try, class preparation, completed hourly log, class participation, and project completeness, not on level of skill.
