Cake Decorating I
Basics

Description
Students will learn the basics of icing and decorating a cake. They will bake and bring a cake & icing four times during the semester to learn and practice icing different shapes and sizes of cakes. They will learn borders, basket weave, writing, several easy icing flowers, and some more challenging ones. We will make Royal Icing so students can dry their flowers and save them for their final project. On the last day students will bring their final cake design for fellow students and teachers to admire and vote for their favorite!
