Cake Decorating II
Advanced Icing Flowers & Techniques

Description
This class begins with the classic Wilton Rose and includes other flowers such as a carnation, pansy, daffodil, and primrose. We will use royal icing to make ahead and dry flowers to arrange on a cake. We will also explore techniques such as figure piping, lattice and lace, cornelli, and brush embroidery. Students will also learn how to stack tiers of cake. On the last day of class each student will bring a final cake of their own design to demonstrate their new skills; these will be voted on by peers and adults at KDO.
