Algebra I
Learn algebraic concepts including equations, functions, exponents, and polynomials.

Description
This course of Algebra I guides students step-by-step through algebraic concepts including equations, functions, exponents, and polynomials. Weekly classroom instruction will be supplemented with optional videos for help and clarification during the week. In order to successfully comprehend concepts in Algebra 1, students need to show a solid understanding of basic math skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers, fractions and decimals.
Requirements
and Prerequisites - (if applicable)
Prerequisite: Students must have taken Pre-Algebra and earned at least 80% or successfully completed an Algebra Qualifying Exam with an 80%. Exceptions will be individually evaluated for approval by the teacher.
Text Required:
There is no textbook required for this course.
Weekly worksheets from Gina Wilson's All Things Algebra will be provided to the students.
