Melanie Quickel-Reading Specialist

Melanie has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, with a focus in reading, and a master’s degree in teaching reading and is a certified reading specialist.  She has over 15 years of experience teaching within the public school and homeschooling community and private tutoring. She is offering her tutoring/expertise in the following areas: decoding, fluency, comprehension, and/or struggling or unmotivated readers.  Tutoring opportunity is available for students ranging in age from k-12.  Melanie is willing to schedule tutoring sessions during KDO days (before or after or during study halls as time allows). Her schedule also accommodates for other times outside of these hours. Please contact her for more options. Sessions can be 30 or 60 minutes at a cost of $30/hr.
